Hourly Certified Home Health Aides

Have you considered employing a certified home health aide for your loved one but you're not sure if its appropriate? From The Heart Elder Care is here to help with that decision. 

If you're spending at least a couple of hours 2 or 3 days a week to care for an elderly loved one then employing an hourly-based certified home health aide maybe your best option. (All we require is a minimum of 4 consecutive hours, twice a week.)

If your loved one requires help with any of the following on an ongoing basis we can help:

  • Toileting
  • Showering
  • Dressing and/or undressing
  • Meal preparation and clean up
  • Light Housekeeping
  • Laundry
  • Changing linens
  • Accompanying to medical or other appointments 

Definition of an Hourly Certified Home Health Aide

A caregiver/certified home health aide (CHHA) is a person employed to be a caregiver who carries a current license/New Jersey state certification and can perform companion “hands off” and personal care “hands on” care.
