On Tuesday, February 16, 2016, one of our very own caregivers SAVED A LIFE! You heard it right, Liz saved the life of a dear patient of ours by performing the Heimlich maneuver on her when she choked while eating her lunch and was unconscious. Things could have gone very wrong if it wasn’t for Liz’s quick reaction to help!
We would like to thank Liz and commend her for her courage and quick actions in not only performing the Heimlich Maneuver but giving CPR and bringing our patient back to consciousness. We are lucky to have Liz on our team and are very proud of her selfless act of true heroism!
