My husband’s 92 year old grandfather came to live with us back in February. We wanted to do the right thing but we have very busy lives. We needed help. From The Heart was recommended to us so I gave them a call. The owner Linda personally came out to our home to meet us and our Grandpa. Linda is a wonderful person. We made a connection right away. She made her visit personable. She was truly concerned about us as a family and our needs and made it her mission to make sure that we were placed with the right companion. She hit the nail tight on the head. We were matched with Susan. I can’t begin to tell you how amazing she was. Susan came over to our house on her own time the day before she was supposed to start to meet all of us and instantly she was a part of our family. Grandpa wasn’t always easy to please and he took to her so easily. Susan went out of her way each day to make sure Grandpa was happy. She was a companion, a friend and a caregiver. Grandpa passed away this morning. He was 93. Our family can’t say enough about From The Heart Elder Care. They were able to make a stressful time in our lives manageable and more relaxed. Thank you Linda and Susan. You will always be a part of our family.
My family and I would like to thank you and your wonderful ladies for all the help, concern and kindness you have giver Roger and I during these difficult months – for both of our illnesses. I'm especially grateful to Linda – she is so calm, kind, patient and caring. Without her help at night, I don’t think Roger would have been able to be at home. I am also thankful for Denise and Gilda who helped Roger when we brought him home on hospice. Both of them were so gentle and kind and did everything they could to keep Roger as comfortable as possible and attended to his needs. I’m still numb – I can’t believe he’s gone and I miss him so much. Even though we knew this was coming, I don’t think anyone is prepared when it happens and I thank God for Tim and Angie – without their constant help and love, I know this would have been very different.
I wanted to write to thank you and Donna for all that you did for Mom. It was wonderful to know that she was in such great hands! I know that Donna treated her as she would her own mother. She was compassionate, caring, concerned and helpful. She always accommodated changes that we requested to the schedule and put pick up items from the store whenever Mom requested them. Donna was so thoughtful that she even brought things she knew Mom would like, without her even having to ask! Donna went over and above the call of duty. It was a pleasure to work with all of you and I highly recommend you to anyone who is looking for caring, compassionate, trustworthy and faithful people to care for their loved ones.
Thank you for all your help and assistance with my father over this past year. You made a very difficult situation bearable for all concerned. You were professional and responsive, and you went well above and beyond any reasonable expectations I had. Despite his resentment and resistance to having anyone in his home, he came to like, value and respect you. You made it possible for him to remain in his home and to retain control over his life. My mom loves the attention and looks forward to their visits. I feel good knowing I can trust the ladies and that they are taking good care of mom when I can't be there. I can’t say enough nice things about them! We realized we needed someone to help mom out a few hours a day, several days a week and weren’t quite sure what to do. I looked into some services in the area and knew they weren’t the right thing for mom. I came across a number for From The Heart Elder Care. I called Linda, the owner and met with her and am so happy I did! She is wonderful as well as the ladies who work for her. The ladies do so much for mom, such as taking her to her hair appointments, food shopping, cleaning and most of all being a companion! They even watered her garden over the summer. Mom loves the attention and looks forward to their visits. I feel good knowing I can trust the ladies and that they are taking good care of mom when I can’t be there. Linda is a blessing in our lives as well as her employees! From The Heart Elder Care aides are in our house 10 hours a day caring for both my aunt AND my mom for less than half the cost of my aunts assisted living! From The Heart Elder Care has truly been a fantastic find for our family. Linda, the owner, has arranged for in home care for my mom, 90 years old and my aunt, 88 years old. My aunt was in assisted living and her fees were running over $7000 a month. Linda’s employees are wonderful, caring women (at least the aides we have are women). I really don’t know how my husband and I could ever care for my mom and aunt, but Linda has a heart of gold and a wonderful supportive staff! If you or anyone you know needs an in home caretaker for a few hours a day, week or even full time, my suggestion is to call From The Heart Elder Care. I don’t know how my family and I ever managed caring for my mother before From The Heart Elder Care came into our lives! I have two grown children in college and my husband and I both work full time. The cost of assisted living was way out of our league. We came across Linda’s home care on the Internet and the rest is history. Linda and her staff are WONDERFUL!!! They are caring, loving and take such good care of my mother. We are blessed to have found them! When my mom passed away I was faced with a life changing decision, I moved my 87 year old dad to live with us. Let me tell you, where the other company fell short of our expectations, you have far exceeded them. Linda, Jen & Denise have just gone above and beyond in taking care of my Dad. From Denise's regular excellent service and communication, from Jen spending an entire day at the hospital and then Linda spending an entire Sunday at the hospital with my Dad the care that these ladies put out is truly beyond belief. Anyone that is in need of care for a family member would be well served in calling From the Heart for that person. These ladies are truly my Angels!
Linda, thank you for providing me with peace of mind and making it possible for me to enjoy my daughter's wedding. Hope I wasn't too big of a pest! A special thank you to Audrey O. for her skill and her warmth. She made me comfortable at 1st meeting and made Bill comfortable with having someone other than me caring for him. Audrey is a treasure and I thank her for all she did to make my leaving Billy easier. Her thoughtfulness was amazing and I appreciate all she did to give both Bill and I a good weekend.
Linda, on a personal note. I can never begin to thank you and your team for the last 1.5 years. Everyone has been awesome. We managed to get my dad an extra 18 months in his house that we could have never done without you guys. Trips to the hospital, police calls and a multitude of other things that everyone pitched in on to make right or fix. It's been an interesting ride but it worked for longer that I thought it would. For all of this I am eternally grateful!
When I began to work at From the Heart in august of 2016, The people that ran the office John, Greta & the nurse Christine & especially Linda Esposito (the owner) Went above & beyond to put me at ease during the interview. They were very detailed about my job duties. They gave me many ideas on how to make the client feel at ease & more comfortable with me there.The other employees I've met so far have been great and have no problem helping me with any questions or problems that come up.
